Discover The Comfort of a Hearty Meal: White Chicken Chili for Any Occasion
In the world of comfort foods, few dishes rival the warmth
and rich flavors of a well-crafted chicken chili. Combining ground chicken,
spices, a medley of beans and vegetables topped with Avocado, sour cream, and
cheese, chicken chili is a versatile and nourishing meal full of protein. You
can find all these ingredients at Giant Grocery Store. Whether enjoying it on a
chilly night or a cheap meal night, this dish never fails to please and warm
the soul. We’ll dive into the art of making an affordable chicken chili that is
out of this world.
This is what you’re going to need:
1 Pound Nature's Promise Ground Chicken
1 Small Onion
1 Clove of Garlic
One and a half cups of chicken broth
One 16oz can of Cannellini
One 4oz can of chopped green chili
2 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt to taste
Half a cup of Herdez Salsa Verde
Instructions:
Start by heating up a medium pot over medium heat and add a
splash of olive oil. Add your ground chicken and cook until it’s no longer
pink, stirring occasionally to make sure it cooks evenly. Toss in your diced
onions and let them cook until they’re soft and golden. Add the minced garlic
and cook for a minute or so until it smells good. Season generously with cumin,
salt, pepper, and oregano. Pour in the chicken broth, add diced chilies and
Salsa Verde. Turn your heat down to low with the lid off for about 20-30
minutes. This lets the chili thicken up and the flavors to combine. Once it is
as thick as you like it, it’s time to put it in a bowl and add toppings. Cut
your avocado in slices and place however you would like in the bowl. Next, add
a nice spoon full of sour cream (my favorite topping), and sprinkle some
shredded cheese. You’re all done and ready to eat!
Living on a budget as a student can be tough, but it doesn’t
mean you have to sacrifice flavor or satisfaction. With a little creativity and
some simple ingredients, you can whip up a hearty bowl of white chicken chili. This
recipe also freezes well if you have extra.
