Rao's Homemade Alfredo Sauce with Country Sausage and Pasta

Rao’s Homemade Alfredo Sauce with Country Sausage and Pasta

The best part about this meal is that it makes the perfect amount for two people to get full plates, or a single person to indulge in seconds and still have leftovers. The most expensive part of this meal is the alfredo sauce. Rao’s Homemade Alfredo sauce is by far the best alfredo sauce you can buy at Walmart or Giant. It might be a little pricy, but you will not regret this decision. You cut costs on this meal everywhere else. That sauce paired with Hatfield country sausage, which offers plenty of protein, and Great Value egg noodles, make for a delicious and affordable dinner. Take a trip through how to cook this awesome meal with me.

Instructions:

For this recipe use one pound of ground sausage. In a large pan you want to cook your sausage till browned inside on a medium-high heat. While that cooks, heat enough water for one-fourth a 16 Oz bag of egg noodles. Once the water is boiling add the egg noodles and cook until tender. When the noodles are tender, drain the water and set to the side. Once you have your sausage cooked, remove the grease from the pan. I place paper towels on a large plate and dump the sausage on it. Make sure you wipe the pan’s side and bottom before you place it back on the stove. I then return the sausage to the pan and lower the heat to a medium. I add the alfredo sauce and let that heat up and mix with the sausage. Once it’s reached a low boil take off heat and pour over noodles. For less dishes I tend to place the alfredo and sausage mix in the pot with the noodles in it. I mix everything. It’s ready to plate and eat. Enjoy!

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I hope this simple and filling dish makes it to your table. You won’t be disappointed.
