Chicken Cobb Salad from Happy Wraps
There is a café in Bellefonte, PA near Talleyrand on west
high street called Happy Wraps. Their menu has wraps, melts, sandwiches, salads, and
soups. On the sweeter side they sell ice cream, milkshakes, and smoothies. Happy
Wraps has a 4.9-star rating on Google reviews, and I can verify they hold up to
their reputation. As someone who is keen on healthy alternatives for lunch or
dinner, this place is perfect. You can get a regular sized salad for $8.25, not
including tax or tip. That’s cheaper than most sandwiches in the town. Happy
Wraps is generous with the toppings. I did add extra avocado to my salad at
home. I believe every bite should have some avocado. I try
to make each bite have everything on it, but that doesn’t always work. I like
how they use fresh greens that are full of nutrients instead of iceberg lettuce.
The chicken is shredded breast meat, which is perfect for lean protein. The
tomatoes add a nice juiciness when you get a bite of it. They add a lot of
bacon, which is amazing. Lastly the blue cheese crumbles add a tanginess but
enjoyable taste. I can only talk about their salads, but I can imagine the rest
of their menu is just as good. So go check them out in Bellefonte and while
you’re at it go see some ducks or feed the fish at Talleyrand.
